The Kerry/Fonda picture is a fake -- someone Photoshopped a photo of Kerry (taken on a different occasion) on top of a genuine photo of Fonda speaking at a rally. For details, see http://www.snopes.com/photos/politics/kerry2.asp.
Thanks anonymous. That is impressive. What would we do without Snopes?
I have tried to cut things out of one picture and stick them in another in Photoshop, but the easiest way to do it leaves an obvious white halo around the transposed object.
Also, how successful has a product become when it has become a word in the language? Even if the faker used some other software to do it, he would still have photoshopped the fraud.

ReplyDeleteBad news. It turns out to be possible to send spam blog comments. There really does not seem to be any end to the selfish prickishness in the world.
